Since 1988, sellers have entrusted Second Go Round to sell their quality preowned clothing, furniture and inexpensive home accessories and wall art, unique collectibles and jewelry. Our family-owned shop pioneered the concept of community resource sharing, and we consistently demonstrate our commitment to connecting sellers and buyers.  Our proven strategy has rewarded thousands of consignors with prompt sales of their items, while also earning the trust of loyal regular customers who rely on us to satisfy their ever-changing needs for home furniture, as well as unique and one of a kind treasures.

Consigning Items

Clothing Items:

We consign ladies, men, & children's clothing, 25 pieces at a time. Items must be on hangers, up to date, clean, and in style. They must be in season. Percentage is 60/40. Call for an appointment.

Miscellaneous 

We take 2 boxes at a time, by appointment only. We accept toys, craft items, house hold, kitchen, dishes, purses, shoes, bedding, pillows, small pictures, pet items, & holiday items (in season only). Percentage is 60/40.

JEWELRY

We no longer except jewelry since we have no one to process it. We do however sell new jewelry if you are looking to purchase. 

FURNITURE

Furniture needs to be in style and clean. We pick up furniture Monday-Friday. Pick up is Free. If we pick it up the percentage is 60/40, if you bring it in, its 50/50. If interested in consigning a piece of furniture, text 252-241-7901 a picture of it with your name and if you'd like for it to be picked up or you'll be bringing it in. Furniture is decided by space availability & quality of the item. Scheduling is done on Mondays.

Shopper FAQs

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, apple pay, as well as debit & credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover. We also have gift cards available.

 

Do you except Layaway or financing?

Customers can put furniture on layaway for 14 days. The price must be over $100 and 25% must be put down. If not picked up before the 14 day period will be refunded less a 25% restocking fee.

Financing, we personally don't do financing but have a great company we work with called ACIMA that almost  anyone can get approved for, and walk out with furniture that day. It's very quick and easy.

Can I put an item on hold?

You can place a 24 hour hold on a furniture item (no deposit necessary). In order to do so, please give us a call and we will let you know if the item’s availability and the hold is possible.

When do I have to pick up my paid furniture purchases?

Customers are welcome to pick up their purchased items anytime during store hours. Items must be picked up within seven days of purchase unless approved by management. Purchased items left beyond the initial seven day period will be refunded less a 25% restocking fee.

We recommend that you pick up your purchases as soon as possible. Second Go Round will in no way be held responsible or liable for any damage that may occur between the time the item is purchased and when it is picked up, nor will it be held responsible or liable for any damage that may occur in transit or while items are being loaded or unloaded.

What do I need to bring with me when picking up my purchases?

Please bring your own help to move and load your purchased item(s). We cannot guarantee that we will have staff available to assist you with this. We do try to provide at least one staff to help but sometimes it doesn't work out that way. Please also bring your receipt. Second Go Round will in no way be held responsible or liable for any damage that may occur between the time the item is purchased and when it is picked up, nor will it be held responsible or liable for any damage that may occur in transit or while items are being loaded or unloaded.

What is your return policy?

All sales are final. Because we are selling items on behalf of our consignors, we do not offer exchanges or refunds.

All items are sold as-is. Most of our inventory is pre-owned, and as such may not be in like new condition. We do our best to represent condition accurately in item descriptions and photos. To ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase, we recommend you carefully examine each piece, in person if possible, and verify item measurements before placing your order. Our sales associates are happy to answer questions if you need more information about items prior to purchase.
